Ahh black and whites... So classic... But it just means I once again forgot to change the settings on my camera after shooting inside. Yikes.

This kid is FEARLESS. He makes me nervous sometimes!

Another year gone. I used to mark my years according to the school year, but since I'm no longer in school, our yearly beach trip is my new benchmark. This was the only thing I had to look forward to for a LONG time. It's what kept me going!

And now it's over. The worst part about vacation being over is saying goodbye to my family because I may not see them for a year. And I miss them!  Someday, I will live closer to them!

Anyway. I wasn't all that happy with my pictures this year. Usually, there are a couple every year that I absolutely LOVE, but I didn't really find those pictures this year! Uploading and going through them was kind of disappointing.

The family pictures were insane... It was so hot and there was zero breeze on the beach when we were out there! I was sweating bullets. It was awful! I didn't even want to be in any pictures. I basically soaking wet with sweat. Blegh!

Next year, I think we should go back to doing the big group picture at the house, then migrating to the beach for the rest. It's just too hard lugging everything out to the beach for ONE picture! This was the second year we did it, and I am just not a fan. It's just an extra headache and the picture doesn't look any better than they have before!

I'm a big fan of candids anyway. I much prefer them over the posed ones. They always wind up being my favorites!

I haven't been doing so well keeping up with my spring resolution of using my camera once a week. I haven't been using it much at all lately, and I feel like it showed in my pictures this year. I need to start using it more often for sure!

Hopefully I'll start working on a video soon! The lack of space on my computer is really getting dire!
