Snow-M-G!

It snowed!

I won't lie, even for all the trouble it causes, I still get excited when it snows. I'm a perpetual eight year old in that sense.

I never really believe when they say it's going to snow. They say it's going to snow all the time and it almost never does! Those weather people are always getting my hopes up. So when they were predicting this Winter Storm Helena, I figured it wouldn't amount to anything. So I'm kind of happy I was wrong!

The ice and the terrible driving and things shutting down and not being able to make it to work, that part of it sucks, but I can't help but loving it. I'm guessing if I had to deal with it all the time, it would lose its sparkle.

But I live in Georgia, and it snows maybe three times a year, and it's usually only a few inches if any at all. So it's exciting! Until it starts to melt and freezes over. Then it's a pain in the butt.

But it's just so pretty, so I had to go out and take some pictures. By the time I got out there, it was already becoming more like ice than snow, but it still painted a pretty picture! It's crazy how much brighter it is outside when there's snow on the ground. I love it!

Still, nothing will ever beat a snow day!

All the animal prints in the snow wee crazy! It was mostly birds, but I'm pretty sure I saw some deer tracks in the backyard too!
